Virtual Learning Academy Parents,

Be reminded that students have a long weekend! Teachers have a workday on Monday and we look forward to seeing you on Tuesday for conferences. We will share how your students is doing in the classroom and review MAP data.

Students are encouraged to use the long weekend to Read! Read! Read! Be sure to record any reading in the reading Google Form. We are waiting to see who will be the February Rome Reads Student of the Month!

Supplies are still available in the VLA front office. All students in grades K - 8 can take home a stylus. The stylus should help them utilize the touch screen more efficiently. Students in grades 3 - 6 have dry erase boards, markers and erasers to take home. Teachers will use these boards as a way for students to quickly show their answers and work. If your student needs paper, pencils, glue or other basic supplies, we also have these items available.

Continue to work on the Cardboard Challenge at home. Cardboard and scissors are available for pickup.
