Virtual Learning Academy

The Virtual Learning Academy has been recognized for completing the Georgia Department of Education's Tier I PBIS Framework Training with Northwest Georgia RESA.   Together with Paulding County's virtual learning academy, Rome City Schools and  Paulding County are the first virtual schools to complete the training.  The VLA was represented by a team of teachers, including Sarah Blasius, Thomas Floyd, Merrimac Forsyth, James Herndon, and Christy Epps.  This team worked to create the VLA's PBIS behavior matrix and celebrations for students.  Implementation of PBIS within the virtual setting has been successful!
